As the new year rolls in, many families are eager to create a fun-filled bucket list of activities they want to experience together throughout the year. From winter activities like sledding and ice skating to summer adventures like camping and swimming, having a family fun bucket list can help everyone stay excited and engaged throughout the year. In this article, we'll explore some creative and exciting ideas around Uniontown, Morgantown, and surrounding areas so you can start planning your adventures and making unforgettable memories with your loved ones.




☐ Go sledding at one of the locations on the Winter Fun Guide.

☐ Try a warm drink and support local businesses like Coffee at Crawford LLC or Hi-Gear Coffee.

☐ Have a snowball fight at Hutchison Park.

☐ Go ice skating at Morgantown Ice Arena.

☐ Take a winter nature hike at West Virginia Botanic Gardens or many of the beautiful trails in our area.

☐ Learn a new skill like music lessons at Practice Makes Perfect Music Studio or pick up a book at the library. 

☐ Create warm kits (gloves, scarves, hats, etc.) and leave them around town for those in need.

☐ Go bowling - check out Yough Lanes or other local bowling alleys

☐ Make snow ice cream!

☐ Go swimming indoors at Mylan Park.
