Hutchison Park

Address: 65 Reservoir Road Uniontown, PA 15401

Playground: Most of the playground is in decent condition. There are swings and a sandbox nearby. If you'd like to sit and relax, there are two pavilions close enough to see the equipment. They also have a few swings for those with disabilities.

Restrooms: There is a restroom, but be prepared to walk as it's not near the playground.

Trail: This is a nice walking trail that's easily accessible with a stroller. For more of a challenge, you can walk along the upper path. There is also access to Sheepskin Trail at Hutchison.

Areford Park

20-30 Eggleston Street Uniontown, PA 15401

Playground: The playground is in great condition. Equipment is a combination of new and old that's well maintained. It was nostalgic to see my kids playing on equipment I enjoyed as a child.

Restrooms: Seasonal Restrooms.

Trail: There is a nice walking trail.

Fort Necessity

Address: 1 Washington Pkwy Farmington, PA 15437

Playground: A small playground with unique equipment. The squishy footing makes it perfect for days following rain because it doesn't get muddy. There's also a small interactive walk-through exhibit in the visitors center.

Restrooms: Restrooms are available when the visitors center is open.

Trail: There are dirt trails available for hiking. The trail to the fort is flat and would be appropriate for strollers.

Bailey Park

Address: Uniontown, PA 15401

Playground: Newer playground with climbing features and slides. There's also a double teeter totter and slide not photographed.

Restrooms: I'm unsure if there are restrooms and will investigate soon.

Trail: The path to the playground is easily accessible. There are also trails beside the South Union Athletic Complex that is not far away.

Stewart on the Green Community Park

Address: Ohiopyle, PA (by the community center)

Playground: A cute playground in great condition. It has an adorable woodland theme with sweet animals. Little secrets are hidden around; for example, a finger maze is on the faux tree. They also have two kayaks for the kids to sit in.

Restrooms: I didn't see any restrooms around, but shops and restaurants nearby which may have one.

Trail: There isn't a trail at the playground itself, but it's right across the street from Ohiopyle, which has many trails to explore

West Virginia Botanic Garden

Address: 1061 Tyrone Road Morgantown, WV 26508

Playground: Nature-inspired play area. There are climbing features, tunnel, sandbox, small pond, and more.

Restrooms: There is a restroom in the vistors center.

Trail: There are trails of varying difficulty throughout the whole reserve. The path to the play area is steep.

Dunlap Creek Park

Address: 788 New Salem Rd Uniontown, PA 15401

Playground: Small but in good condition. There are only swings, a small tunnel, and a plastic drum. There are plenty of grassy areas to play in and a peaceful environment. Great for fishing and picnics.

Restrooms: There are restrooms.

Mammoth Park

Address: 171 County Park Rd, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666

Playground: Mammoth has multiple playgrounds throughout the park along with a brand new slide complex. There is also a skate park, ball fields, tennis and dek hockey fields, fishing, hunting and more.

Restrooms: There are latrines and comfort stations throughout the park.

Trail: A flat walking path goes around the lake.

Cedar Creek Park

Address: 453 Evergreen Dr, Belle Vernon, PA 15012

Playground: The main playground is brand new with mainly climbing equipment and ropes courses. There are also swings, 2 slides, and some workout equipment. There are many other different playgrounds throughout the park. A lot of the playgrounds have handicapped accessible equipment.  We had fun walking and driving to each one.

Restrooms: There are very clean restrooms in buildings next to each playground and they were unlocked

Trail: Cedar Creek has a long flat path for walking or bike riding which is also handicapped accessible. There are also many trails with draw bridges. There is access to the water by the river.
