Description
t270 years ago, on July 3, 1754, the opening shots of the French and Indian War (or 7 Years War depending on who you ask) took place. On the third, there will be artillery demonstrations on the battlefield, and a reading of the names of those lost in the battle. On the fourth, the artillery demonstrations will continue, with cannon demonstrations taking place at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM both days. Additionally, a book signing will be held in the Visitor Center, which will be open from 9 AM to 5 PM on both days. The park ground will be open from sunrise to sunset. There is no fee or reservations required for this event.
