Is your preschooler having issues with separation anxiety? Are you looking for opportunities for socialization for your child and yourself? Parents’ Place may be a perfect fit for you!
Our preschool enrolls children ages 1-5 for one or two days a week. Children learn to deal with separation anxiety in a loving, gentle, low-pressure environment where they know mom or dad are just downstairs waiting for them. It’s a positive and encouraging first school experience!
While students attend class from 9:30 – 11:30 in the morning, parents stay in the building to attend workshops, hear guest speakers, enjoy some time to relax, or even have a couple hours to get some uninterrupted work done. Parents remain in the building, and children know that mom and dad are available if they need them
. Our low-cost tuition of just $15/day is made possible because we are a completely parent-run organization that relies on a board of parent volunteers as well as membership participation in fundraising. Everyone is expected to help with at least one fundraising event per term. There are a variety of ways to meet this obligation. Parents might help with our yearly silent auction, one of our paint and sip events, or helping at our parking lot during WVU home games.
There really is no experience like Parents’ Place. We are a unique program that has been serving Morgantown and surrounding communities for 30 years!
